Eleven fourth-grade chorus students from Centre and Rhame Avenue were chosen to participate in the P.E.A.K. Festival sponsored by the Nassau Music Educators Association at Molloy College on Nov. 18.

The students attended workshops of various kinds including African drumming, a dance choreography class, a vocal improvisation class, an exploration of Australian music with rhythm sticks and a choral rehearsal. All performances were presented to parents and educators at the end of the day, with the finale being performed by a 312-voice chorus.
