Centre Avenue School students took part in an exciting presentation about extreme weather by Mr. Joe from the Franklin Institute’s traveling science program. The students learned about lightning, tornadoes and hail, discussed the factors that affect weather and saw firsthand the creation of a cloud. Mr. Joe discussed many concepts, including the water cycle, thermodynamics, air masses and fronts. It was a wonderfully engaging and educational experience for all. Thank to you the PTA for sponsoring this event.
