Creating Commercials to Sell Products

Junior-Senior High School students in Ms. Perrone’s English class were tasked with creating a commercial for a product using their knowledge of the rhetorical triangle, modes of persuasion and logical fallacies.

Students worked in groups to plan out their scripts and employed devices learned to sell their product to their target audiences. After creating the scripts, groups performed their commercials while classmates watched and provided feedback on the effectiveness of their persuasive tactics.
