On the Hunt for Cookies at Centre Avenue

Hunt for Cookies1
Centre Avenue’s kindergarten classes were looking forward to having gingerbread men cookies for snack on Dec. 20, when they noticed they had disappeared.

The children and their teachers searched all over the school. First, they stopped by the gymnasium, because gingerbread men like to run. Then they headed to the art room, since gingerbread men cookies like to be decorated. The students found some crumbs in their classrooms, so they thought maybe the cookies went to the nurse to get Band-Aids to keep their crumbs together. They then wondered if they ran away because they were frightened. Eventually the cookies were found in Principal Sherry Ma's office. Of course, a place where the gingerbread men would feel safe!
