Sixth-grade student council members at Rhame Avenue School discussed character traits of a good leader with younger grade levels. Working in groups, students created slideshows and skits about the qualities of being a good leader and then shared their presentations with kindergarten, first-, second- and third-grade classes. After that, sixth-graders engaged the classes with a question-and-answer session. This activity benefited members of the student council as well as the students in the younger grades.
