Centre Avenue’s first graders dove into literature by reading Arnold Lobel’s “Frog and Toad Are Friends” and Thelma Lynne Godin’s “How to Dress a Dragon.” For the unit, students are practicing skills such as sequencing, character traits, and cause and effect.

In relation to “How to Dress a Dragon,” Junior-Senior High School senior Giana Donald interned with the class to work with students on creating flow maps to sequence steps on how to dress a dragon.
