Junior-Senior High School students in Bryan Palermo’s AP Physics class completed a Breakout EDU activity. Similar to an escape room, the activity required them to solve various problems, clues and puzzles to open a locked box. All of the tips and questions were specific to Newton’s Three Laws of Motion.

Four teams competed to be the first to break out. They had to combine teamwork and problem-solving skills with their knowledge of physics. The winning team successfully unscrambled all of Newton’s Laws and, as a prize, received bonus points for the next quiz.
