Fifth and sixth grade enterprise students of East Rockaway have worked diligently toward the end of the school year and put together an issue for Newsday’s Kidsday edition. The program is written by kids for kids, whom are tasked to interview stars, review movies and more.

East Rockaway students Isabella DeCunzo, Maya Motherway, Shannon Mahoney, Avery Whitehouse and Charlotte Webster ventured to New York City where they conducted their celebrity interview with pop star Johnny Orlando.

The official Kidsday issue will debut July 20 and will continue to run from July 22-26. Each day, more of enterprise students’ articles, photos and artwork will appear in Kidsday. They are excited to see their hard work and talents come to fruition.

Check out Newsday this weekend to view their work.
