Centre Avenue students were decked in cozy holiday attire for the school’s annual “Snuggle Up With a Good Book” reading activity.

Different grade level students partnered up for the schoolwide event, which kicked off the holiday break. Lower grade level students were tasked with selecting a book that was then read to them by upper grade level students they were paired with. In addition to wearing comfortable pajamas, students also brought in stuffed animals to snuggle up to during the reading.

A variety of exciting books were read throughout the school, including “The Berenstain Bears and Too Much TV,” by Stan and Jan Berenstain, “Double Trouble Monsters,” by Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones, “Going to the Firehouse,” by Mercer Mayer, and more.
