Red Nose Day Celebration

The East Rockaway Junior-Senior High School is joining the international fight for health and safety among children by celebrating Red Nose Day on May 23. Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising campaign with the goal to eradicate child hunger and poverty.

The middle school will host several activities throughout the week. The Key Club and social worker Ms. Amy Weissman will be holding a fundraiser in the rotunda during lunch periods. All students in grades 7-12 can purchase a red nose for a $1 donation and take a selfie with a frame titled “#NOSESON.”

This is a great way for our students to band together, have fun, raise money and change the lives of children in need. This experience will also help build their understanding of the world around them, while learning that they can create a positive change.
