Rhame Avenue Elementary School students and staff closed their International Day of Peace activities by creating “Peace Rocks” that displayed messages to inspire everyone to be kind to each other and the environment. All “Peace Rocks” were added to the school’s new Rock Garden. 

Students learned about environmental conservation through several activities, including crafting innovative creations out of a water bottle and reusable objects, and participating in a trash free snack challenge. In addition, they also learned about 4 Ocean, a global movement that actively removes trash from the ocean and coastlines while inspiring individuals to work together for cleaner oceans around the world.
