Members of the Rhame Avenue School’s Student Council learned firsthand about local government from Village of East Rockaway Mayor Bruno Romano.
Romano recently visited the students to speak about the ins and outs of his job. The students interviewed him and he answered a variety of their questions that included the positives and negatives of being mayor, how long he has been mayor and why he ran for position. Student council members appreciated his time and dedication to the Village of East Rockaway.
