The high school’s Dignity club held an awareness campaign to show
respect for people with intellectual disabilities. It was called "Spread
the word, Stop the word." Students and staff were encouraged to sign a
pledge to not use the "R-word". Dignity club members staffed the table
during their lunch and free periods.
