Mrs. Donald’s and Mrs. Kuck’s students at Centre Avenue have been working in Eureka Math Module 2 for the past few weeks, learning various strategies for solving long division equations with and without decimals. In order to showcase their understanding of this topic, the students worked with Mr. Araoz using their tablets to explore the program Flip Grid. Students collaborated in small groups to create a script and a video, that described the steps needed to solve a long division equation. These videos will be used as a “how-to” for fellow fourth- and fifth-grade students.
