Mrs. Kassie Tillem-Spero's sixth grade science class at Rhame are learning about the transmission of light through different materials. The engaging lesson allows students to use flashlights and everyday objects to determine if a material was transparent, translucent, or opaque. After that, they discussed the different qualities of each material, and the behavior of light as it was transmitted through each material.
