The Centre Avenue Reading Action Committee held its annual Snuggle Up With a Good Book, where older students were paired up with younger students to read their favorite books. Fifth grade classes partnered with first and second grade classes, while fourth grade classes partnered with second graders and sixth graders partnered with third graders.

Dressed in comfortable pajamas, students read books like Dr. Seuss’ “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish,” Syd Hoff’s “The Littlest Leaguer,” H. A. Rey’s “Curious George at the Aquarium” and more. It was a great way to get in the holiday spirit while sharing our love for reading.
