Maryann Napolitano’s and Jeannine Patane’s third grade classes at East Rockaway’s Centre Avenue Elementary School paid tribute to the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an interactive and inspirational activity.
Students read the books “I Have A Dream” and “Martin’s Big Words: The Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” They picked a quote from one of the books, wrote what those words meant to them and then shared their interpretation with the class.
