Fourth graders at Centre Avenue Elementary School participated in a hands-on experiment that correlated with their unit on Matter. Students investigated a Mystery Matter substance and used the scientific method to analyze and make observations. Using data they collected, they were able to conclude if the mystery matter was a solid, liquid or a gas.
