Junior-Senior High School students in the Chemistry Foundations class recently created slime from a mixture of sodium tetraborate decahydrate and polyvinyl acetate (glue). They engaged in a discussion about the formation of bonds within the slime after learning about ionic and covalent bonding and how to name and write chemical formulas.
