District students, staff, administration and members of the Board of Education were in high spirits, as they hosted a senior parade to celebrate the Class of 2020.

Students and their families lined up in their cars and drove through the Junior-Senior High School parking lot. They were greeted in the front of the building by the district’s house band, and received a warm welcome from high school administration, central administration and members of the board of education.

As they made their way around the back of the building, they were greeted by high school staff and teachers, along with a live DJ. Students also stopped their cars to take a picture with the infamous CUP and then had another opportunity to take a photo in their cap and gown with the East Rockaway backdrop. Before exiting the parking lot, students received goodie bags that were donated by the PTA and also brought home delicious snacks that were donated by EGP in Oceanside and Pizzaiola in Oceanside.
