The district’s Board of Education was proud to congratulate the achievements of students and a staff member during its December board meeting.
Junior-Senior High School Principal Richard Schaffer kicked off the night and presented the names of students who earned the Advance Placement Scholar designation. Twenty-four students earned this honor and will receive certificates. Advance Placement Scholars are students who were recognized for their successful performance on the 2020 AP exams.
Board members and administrators also celebrated the retirement of Centre Avenue Elementary School teacher Susan Glickman. Although Ms. Glickman was unable to attend the meeting, Centre Avenue Principal Calia Kelly spoke of Ms. Glickman’s accomplishments and dedication to the district, serving more than 18 years.
