The district is proud to announce that Junior-Senior High School senior Emma Pollackov has been accepted to this year's NAfME 2021 All-Eastern Honor Ensemble Conference for mixed chorus.

Emma is one of 719 high school musicians from Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont to participate in the conference.

This is her second honor this year, after being selected to the NYSSMA All-State Conference. Her participation in All-State is what qualified her application for All-Eastern.

Selected students will be participating in a "Virtual Weekend” experience from March 4-6. It will include keynote speakers, masterclasses with professional musicians, rehearsals with their conductors as well as opportunities to learn and network with colleges and universities of various types and participate in mock auditions.

The district is proud of Emma’s achievement and wishes her best of luck in March.
