Centre Avenue gathered for a “Town Hall” meeting on June 21. As a school, they acknowledged students with outstanding attendance. They also honored teachers Annette Dubiel and Roxanne Lamama for their years of services and wished them a happy retirement.

Finally, a few student representatives in sixth grade and kindergarten shared the Thinking Maps they completed together based on the book “Only One You.” Students discussed how they are each unique and have the power to make a positive impact in the world. The school also created a rock garden as a visual reminder that we are all special and have the ability to make the world a better place.
