The district celebrated the new school year with an exciting homecoming weekend that kicked off with the district’s homecoming parade and Junior-Senior High School’s pep rally.

The Junior-Senior High School football field was alive with school spirit, as students cheered on their sports teams, high school band, and fellow seniors who competed in the mummy wrap game. The night ended with Zach Hiroshima and Mairead Connor being crowned homecoming king and queen, and Michael Koerner and Emily Hernandez being crowned the prince and princess.

The festivities continued with the homecoming game, where the Rocks dominated the Carle Place-Wheatley Frogs with a 38-8 victory. Prior to the game, senior band members, varsity football players and varsity cheerleaders were honored in front of the crowd. The halftime show provided spirited performances by the high school band and cheerleading teams.
