Centre Avenue and Rhame Avenue schools celebrated Red Ribbon Week to take a stand against substance abuse. This national campaign promotes positive choices to be drug free, bully free, and show kindness and acceptance of others.
Student representatives from Kiwanis Clubs and student council kicked off the week by placing cups in the fences outside of the elementary schools to send a message that the district community is “Drug Free and Proud.”
Thank you to Ms. Ashley Tener, Ms. Danielle Schaetzle and Ms. Dawn McCabe for spearheading these activities.
