The students in Mrs. Rottkamp's second-grade class at Centre Avenue
School completed a "text feature surgery." After reading their
Scholastic News, the students identified the text features they found
and then cut and glued the text features in the correct places.
Second-graders finally completed a "post-op report" by identifying the
purpose of the text features.
