The students in Mrs. Kristen Pisano’s fashion class at the Junior-Senior High School designed unique, hand sewn monster dolls for both Mrs. Eileen Hiller’s and Mrs. Debbie Ferrato’s first grade students at Rhame Avenue School.

The first graders were very excited to receive their monsters and celebrated this event through a variety of monster-themed activities. Coined Monster Monday, students wrote stories about their monsters, expanded numbers in monster math, learned about S.E.L. with their monsters and created monster masks.

The following day, Rhame Avenue students welcomed their Junior-Senior High School friends to the school to share their stories about the monsters created for them.
