Mr. DeTommaso is excited to return to East Rockaway schools in his new role. He plans to share his knowledge and leadership experience to support the district’s strategic plan and help guide and improve the district in the areas of curriculum, instruction and assessment. He said that his additional goals include “working closely with the administrators and teachers to improve student outcomes and provide opportunities for all learners to reach their potential and to continue focusing on reconnecting students to a positive learning environment to meet their academic and social and emotional needs.”
