The district is taking a stand against bullying by recognizing the month of October as National Bullying Prevention Month. During this time, communities unite nationwide to raise awareness about bullying prevention through events, activities, outreach and education. East Rockaway Schools are continuing to join the movement to inspire, educate and encourage everyone to take an active role to prevent bullying.

In keeping with the East Rockaway Schools’ tradition and with individuals around the world, everyone is encouraged to wear orange on Oct. 20 for Unity Day. We stand together against bullying and unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Together we can make a difference!
