Rhame Avenue Elementary School students in Ms. Maryann Raffaniello’s class offered a helping hand this holiday season for children who face adversity by participating in the annual Scholastic Pajama Drive.
The students collected 15 pairs of new pajamas, which were donated to In Kind Donation in Bethpage. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic donated a brand-new book to children affected by instability.
The district applauds the students for their efforts in this worthy cause.
