Junior-Senior High School students in Mr. Scott Gerken's seventh grade science classes are working on a robotics unit using a BrainCo STEM kit. In this unit, students learn base knowledge in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering through the build of an Arduino powered mechanical hand. The students will be exposed to the field of mechanical engineering and will be able to identify the essential components used in the build such as the breadboard, sensors, motors and etc.
