Rhame Avenue School third grade students received an exciting visit from members of the East Rockaway Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Students learned about the roles of local firefighters and EMT in helping to keep the community safe. In addition, they also ventured inside the fire truck and ambulance, and discovered how equipment is stored and used in the most challenging situations.
