Congratulations to our student musicians who were invited to participate in the Nassau Music Educators Association’s All-County band and orchestra ensembles.

All-County Band:
Centre Avenue School sixth grader Grace Cooper (clarinet)
Rhame Avenue School fifth grader Jeremy Slade (trumpet)

All-County Orchestra:
Centre Avenue School sixth grader Amaiyah Hansen (violin)

All-County selection represents one of the highest achievements for Long Island music students. Participants are chosen based on New York State School Music Association evaluations and teacher recommendations.

The All-County rehearsals and performances took place in January at the Tillis Center for the Performing Arts at LIU Post.
