Congrats to Ms. Forbes on her presentation at the Science Teacher Association of New York State (STANYS) Conference.

She presented a workshop on modeling in the science classroom entitled Stop Drawing for them! Creating Skillful Effective Modelers. Modeling is one of the Science and Engineering practices (SEP) in the NYSSLS standards and is an important tool in the science educator tool kit.

This workshop was attended by science teachers and administrators from around the state. The conference is intended to promote excellence and opportunity for all in science education.
