District staff and parents filled the gymnasium at Centre Avenue Elementary School, as fifth grade students set up shop and showcased their knowledge and skills in business economics for Entrepreneurs Day.
In the months leading up to the event, they worked tirelessly brainstorming ideas for their business. They created a business plan, constructed a prototype, built their products and designed a website and jingle.
The students have learned many valuable lessons about starting a business and have connected this experience to their economics unit in social studies.
