Centre Avenue Elementary School’s fifth and sixth grade students in Ms. Danielle Schaetzle and Mrs. Diana Sporer’s Read 180 class celebrated the completion of their argument writing pieces. The celebration included students sharing their finished pieces with younger peers.

The Read 180 students went into second and third grade classrooms to read their pieces and spark discussions about the controversial writing topics. These topics included whether or not schools should have required uniforms, if junk food should be allowed in schools and if robot teachers should become a permanent part of the classroom. The students enjoyed this wonderful celebration of their hard work.
