Rhame Avenue school second grade students in Maryann Raffaniello’s class had the wonderful opportunity to engage in a Valentine's Day word art activity with district Director of Technology Mr. Lee Araoz and Nassau BOCES Model Schools Program Specialist Ms. Melissa Zakalik.
In keeping with Kindness Week, students used descriptive words and a bubble map to create a Word Art Valentine that characterized their special valentine. The students worked collaboratively to help one another navigate the website and enjoyed this engaging activity.
