Senior chorus participates in masterclass with AMDA alumni

East Rockaway High School’s senior chorus recently had the exciting opportunity to take part in a masterclass led by graduates of AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy), Mahea Leofa, a director, and Vasthy Mompoint, an actress and producer.
The workshop focused on audition techniques and offered students valuable insight into the professional world of musical theatre. Leofa and Mompoint shared their industry knowledge, personal experiences and practical tips, giving students a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed on stage.
The visit was both inspiring and educational, and the students were grateful for the chance to learn from such accomplished professionals. Special thanks to AMDA, Ms.Leofa and Ms. Mompoint for this memorable experience.
