Driver's Education
East Rockaway Driver’s Education is conducted by East Rockaway teachers who are certified by NYS to teach the Driver’s Education program. Your child must be 16 years of age and have their Learner’s Permit to register for the class. Current East Rockaway students will have the priority in registration, followed by students that are East Rockaway zoned residents and then students from outside the district. You must register online, complete the required documents page and send in with payment. The student and Parent/Guardian MUST attend a presentation prior to the start of classes which will be held at East Rockaway Jr./Sr. High School.

We offer three sessions:
Fall: Opens mid to late September and runs mid-October to mid-December.
Spring: Opens mid-January and runs mid-February to end of April (Dates fluctuate depending on Spring Recess dates).
Summer: Opens end of May and runs end of June to mid-August.
