Welcome to Private/Parochial School Registration

All east rockaway residents attending private/parochial school must be registered with the East Rockaway school district in order to complete the application and receive transportation and other services, such as health services and textbooks.

Please note the following guidelines and requirements:

Existing East Rockaway students transferring to a nonpublic school, even those who do not need transportation, must register with the district by completing the private/parochial school enrollment forms along with their student withdrawal form. Please notify the district as soon as possible if a student moves or changes private schools during the school year so that student records may be updated.

New East Rockaway Students

If you are NOT an existing East Rockaway student, you will have to complete the “Private/Parochial School Registration form” and include a copy of the student’s birth certificate and supporting documents providing proof of residency in the school district. You may scan copies and send them by email to Mrs. Moran at Registrations@eastrockawayschools.org or by mail to the Registration office at 443 Ocean Avenue, East Rockaway, NY 11518.

Please do not send original documents in the mail. Provide legible copies of your documents and please make sure each image you attach is clear and that all text is readable.

 

Transport Eligibility: ALL students must be registered with the East Rockaway school district before transportation can be applied for. A separate application is required for each child and is due to the Business Department each year before the April 1 deadline (per NYS law), even if a child is currently receiving transportation.
