Hall of Fame

The East Rockaway Athletics program welcomes nominations for our Hall of Fame.  

  1. The Hall of Retired Numbers
  2. The Coaches Hall of Fame
  3. The Community Hall of Fame

The following are permitted to submit nominations:

  • Any coach with at least 4 years of coaching experience in the district.
  • Any athletic director with at least 4 years of athletic director experience in the district
  • Any ERHS graduate that is a minimum of 5 years removed from graduation.

    1.  Varsity player and graduate of ERHS (minimum five years removed).
    2.  Received the highest honor from Nassau County in that sport.
    3. This person must stand alone statistically at ERHS during their playing time of their sport.

    1. Coached at East Rockaway High School for a minimum of 5 years.
    2. Retirement from coaching.

  • A community member will be eligible at the discretion of the Hall of Fame Committee.  The nominee must have outstanding contributions or extraordinary services to East Rockaway athletes and/or athletic programs.

    • Coaches with at least 10 years of ERHS coaching experience. 
    • The athletic director is a standing voting member of the committee.  
    • The nominee must receive 80% of the vote from the voting committee for induction.
