PETITION FOR A SEAT ON THE BOARD OF EDUCATION:

When voters head to the polls on May 21, 2024, they will be asked to elect two (2) members to the Board of Education. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes will serve a full term of three (3) years to commence on July 1, 2024. The candidate receiving the second highest number of votes will fulfill the unexpired term of a former board member who resigned, which term will commence upon the individual being sworn in to office immediately following the election on May 21, 2024, and expire on June 30, 2025. Candidates for the Board of Education run at-large. If you are interested in becoming a candidate for the Board of Education, you must file your petition with the District Clerk no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024. Nominating Petitions are available in the District Clerk’s Office.

PETICIÓN PARA UN PUESTO EN LA JUNTA DE EDUCACIÓN:

Fecha límite para aplicar el 22 de Abril, 2024

Cuando los votantes acudan a las urnas el 21 de Mayo de 2024, se les pedirá que elijan a dos (2) miembros de la Junta de Educación. El candidato que reciba el mayor número de votos desempeñará un mandato completo de tres (3) años que comenzará el 1 de julio de 2024. El candidato que reciba el segundo mayor número de votos cumplirá el mandato no vencido de un antiguo miembro de la junta que renunció, mandato que comenzará cuando la persona preste juramento al cargo inmediatamente después de la elección del 21 de mayo de 2024, y este puesto vencerá el 30 de junio de 2025.

Los candidatos para la Junta de Educación corren en general. Si usted está interesado en convertirse en candidato a la Junta de Educación, debe presentar su solicitud ante el Secretario del Distrito a más tardar a las 5:00 pm del Lunes 22 de Abril, 2024. Las solicitudes de nominación están disponibles en la Oficina del Secretario del Distrito.
