New teachers welcomed to the East Rockaway School District

On August 26th, the East Rockaway School District welcomed its newest staff members to the district for the 2024-2025 school year. The teachers participated in the district’s annual new teacher orientation, led by Sean Murray, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, in preparation for their new roles with the district.

During the orientation, teachers learned the district’s practices, initiatives, curriculum overview and expectations through a series of workshops. They also met with the district’s administrators and directors.
