Yesterday marked a historic moment for East Rockaway as the Junior High boys soccer team played their first-ever game in school history. The players, guided by Coach Alex Weingarten, put forth an impressive effort against Valley Stream South at Barrett Park. While the final score was 7-0, the team’s spirit, heart, and determination were undeniable.

Parents, Athletic Director Gary Gregory, Superintendent James DeTommaso, and Junior/Senior High School Principal Richard Schaffer were there to show their support. This historic debut is the start of an exciting new chapter for East Rockaway athletics, and we look forward to seeing this team continue to grow and develop!
