Our Regents Physics scholars recently wrapped up their unit on electricity. After learning about circuits, they answered the question if you were designing a house, would you wire it in parallel or in series? Based on the first picture, what do you think?! The lightbulb brightness, ammeter readings, and general construction of each circuit provide hints on how to answer the prompt. We began the unit by learning about electrostatics. The Van de Graaff generator helped 'spark' our interest in the unit, even if it was a little 'shocking'!
