On May 18, bright sun shined on Centre Avenue as hundreds of current and former students, teachers and administrators came together for a once in a century celebration that showcased this monumental anniversary and our incomparable East Rockaway pride!

Centre Avenue principal Ms. Calia Kelly was so proud to share this celebration with the community and offered this message in honor of the occasion:

"We revel in our place within a community that nurtures young minds into eternal seekers of knowledge. Through the ebb and flow of time, Centre Avenue has been a beacon of positivity, fostering growth among its students. Our revered school boasts a lineage of exceptional educators, whose unwavering dedication illuminates the path to wisdom. Gratitude abounds for the community and the legacy of Centre Avenue alumni, sculptures of a realm where joy, laughter and enlightenment intertwine. Here's to the dawn of the next century, where the spirit of learning shall continue to flourish and illuminate the hearts of all who tread these hallowed halls."
