Last week, East Rockaway High School senior Everett Gamache, was awarded a $3000 scholarship from Liberty Utilities and the National Association of Water Companies at a dinner reception at the Thayer Hotel in West Point.

Only seven high school seniors across Long Island were selected to receive this prestigious award. The scholarship reflects Liberty’s commitment to the community and helping young people achieve their goals of becoming future leaders in the water industry.

Everett plans to attend SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in the fall.
