During Career Week, the students at Rhame and Centre welcomed professionals (who also happen to be East Rockaway parents) into their classrooms to talk about their careers!

Our kindergarten through 6th graders got to hear about all sorts of careers, including law enforcement, engineering, education, computers, health care, law, environmental clean-up and many more. We heard about the life of a zookeeper, surf photographer, storm chaser, firefighter and even heard stories of real pirates from a Merchant Marine who has sailed around the world!

Our students were thrilled to get a glimpse into so many careers in one exciting week and we thank all the parents that dedicated their time to join us and share their experiences.
