East Rockaway schools is proud to announce that the Junior-Senior High School has earned the College Board’s AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women’s access to AP Computer Science Principles.

This award acknowledges 1,020 schools for their work toward equal gender representation during the 2020-2021 school year. East Rockaway is one of only 760 schools to be recognized for achieving this important result in AP CSP.

The district is very honored to be recognized with this award and applauds the dedication and practice that the staff and students devote to the program.
