Last Thursday, Cafe 217 was open for business in the ERHS Student Center and our students had the opportunity to get a drink and a snack, along with a smile, from our Cafe 217 team!

Café 217 is an initiative that offers students in the Skills and Achievements classes the opportunity to gain valuable life skills, including interpersonal communication, financial literacy, customer service and problem solving through interaction with members of the school community.

Coinciding with Autism Acceptance Month, this event was an opportunity for the Café 217 students to interact with their peers in a fun setting and use the skills and experience they have acquired as part of this program.
